A major shakeup is underway in Indianapolis as Indiana Fever President Kelly Krauskopf is stepping down after nearly three decades with the organization, setting the stage for a new era ahead of the 2027 WNBA season.
Krauskopf helped build the Fever franchise from its early years, overseeing an era that included the team's historic 2012 WNBA championship.
She returned to lead the organization in 2024 as Caitlin Clark's arrival transformed Indiana into one of the biggest attractions in professional basketball.
Her departure comes after another season that ended in playoff disappointment, with growing questions among fans about the team's roster decisions, coaching, front-office leadership and ability to build a championship contender around Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
Now the spotlight turns to general manager Amber Cox, head coach Stephanie White and the franchise's ownership. Is this simply the end of an era, or the beginning of a much larger organizational overhaul?
The Fever have confirmed Krauskopf's departure, but additional leadership changes have not been announced.
